Stealing Borrowed Items
Story:
Smitedmyely scammed me of a DHCB, Fury, DWH, BP, Trident in 2018 (est. value 250m at the time). He was a long time friend of mine who was, and still is, a habitual gambler in real life and staker in game. He had recently gotten cleaned, so I lent him gear to rebuild at CoX with myself and our other good friend Gahbo.
The first day I lent him the items, he traded them back.
The second day, I told him he could keep them while I went to class that evening, to which we raided when I got back afterwards. I decided to let him keep the items overnight as I went to bed and he continued to raid, then found myself removed from his friends list in game and was ignored on discord when I tried to contact him.
He was kicked from the WDR discord as a result (full archived thread will be linked in a gif), and then shortly after being kicked, messaged me back apologizing for stealing my items and admitted to staking them, with the intentions to one day pay me back. That day never came.
