Stealing Borrowed Items

Accused asked in clan chat to borrow Bandos to go to GWD for an hour. A younger member of the clan said he would provide. Accused stated he had no gp but the victim gave the loan on good faith considering the accused's status in the clan. Victim had to leave for the night, leaving the Bandos set with the accused. Accused proceeded to nag persistently in the clan chat the next day that he needed to talk to the victim to return his bandos. By the time victim made it online to collect his Bandos, accused had left the clan and changed his name. He also kept his private chat settings to either friends only or off for the following week. Accused's private chat is now set to online, but any attempts to reach out to him return no results.

Previous to this scam, accused was pked in the wilderness for 25m, a feed which was shown in our clan chat. Following this, he claimed he had been lured in the process of completing Mage Arena. Several clan members pitched in to cover his losses and provide him advice following. I believe this may have also been a scam he employed on our clan, we just did not catch that at the time.
