Stealing Borrowed Items

We've been clanmates for a while.
Recently he was telling me that he wanted to get into PVM. I've been helping him out and given him loans several times. I've previously loaned him the shadow without collat with no problems so I didn't think it would be this time.
So this time he asked me again, and I thought why not. After about a day I message him on discord asking if I can have it back, he replies that hes got called into work but it wouldn't take very long. I message him again later the same day, and he says he isn't home yet.
So ask him about it next day with no replies, so I go check out the clan and find out that he's actively dodging me.
After a while of me trying to get it back from him ingame and having clanmembers try aswell, he starts messaging me on discord, where he makes it very clear that he doesn't want to give it back.
