Greetings, fellow adventurers,
I am "tanktest me," a long-time member of the RuneScape community. Today, I am sharing my story to warn others and hopefully prevent more tales of trust being broken. This is the unfortunate account of how I was scammed by a player named "spoon em."
I met spoon em in my clan, "OG United," and we played together for months, forming a solid friendship. One day, he mentioned needing gear for a boss, so I lent him my full Ancestral set. He promised to return it when im ready for raids, but instead, he name-changed, blocked me on Discord, and disappeared.
My full Ancestral set, a valuable and hard-earned collection of items, was gone. I want to share this story to highlight the importance of being cautious when lending items, even to players you think you know well.
