Stealing Borrowed Items

After lending a set of items to who I thought was a good friend, and multiple times throughout the months attempting to get these items back I've finally decided to submit this case to runewatch. My friend was down-bad after losing all his gp to DMing(when it still wasn't against the rules) and when he decided to come back to the game I gave him my set that I use to go to nex with, thinking he'd be able to make the money back within 2-3 drops. As we played runescape doing different content I noticed him become more distant, and eventually stopped appearing online. He'd always have a magnitude of excuses on why he couldn't return me my items, always promising to return them within the day/ week and then disappearing on me.
