Stealing Borrowed Items

I run a clan call here's trouble, The Krajsnic joined about 9 months ago and has had low to moderate activity in the clan since that time. Last week in clan chat he was complaining about how he needed money and was going to kill vorkath all week to make some. He messaged me and asked to borrow my Dragon Hunter Lance, since he had been in the clan so long I decided to trust him and didn't get collateral. He had agreed that he was going to return it this past Monday, when it came time to return it he had only gotten a few vorkath kc and was logging out every time I messaged him in game to get it back. He dodged me for several days this week before I cut my losses and kicked him from the clan. He has apologized and admitted to selling the dhl saying he needed the money but has shown no intent in getting me the money he stole.
